The Oster "My Blend" Personal Blender + Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie Recipe

I normally like a pretty simple breakfast, and amongst the simple breakfast things I like are smoothies. They're like a one stop shop for all the things yummy, healthy or not. Unfortunately, the reality is that I don't have the money to go out and buy smoothies every morning nor do I want to spend the time cleaning up a blender. No worries though because I found the perfect smoothie solution: the Oster "My Blend" Personal Blender. Yes, this technically IS a type of blender, but it is way niftier than that. Here's how it works:

1. Fill the bottle with smoothie ingredients.

2. Tighten on the blade attachment.

3. Place the bottle upside down on the blender base, and then turn to blend.

4. Once blended, remove the blade lid, and replace it with the to-go lid.

Voila! And if there are multiples of you using the blender or if you don't have time to rinse out your cup every day, you can buy extra bottles at the store.

Now that you've been introduced to my latest love, let me leave you with a too-easy chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie recipe.

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 banana (chopped)
  • 2 TBS hot chocolate mix
  • 2 TBS peanut butter
  • 4 cubes of ice
  • 1/2 cup milk

Recipe Steps:

Literally just add all ingredients into the cup and blend.

For the best results, add a little milk into the cup first, and then load the ingredients in the exact order listed above. You may also want to add more or less peanut butter and hot chocolate for flavor and more or less milk for thickness.

Fill. Blend. Go. Reuse. Enjoy!
